Shitty Little Poems

Shitty Little Poems is a collection of sharp, darkly funny poems about motherhood, love, resentment, exhaustion, and the strange, tender, often hilarious brutality of everyday life.

Meet the Author

Ravenna Fahey is a writer based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Her debut collection, Shitty Little Poems, is a series of “micro essays” that explore motherhood, marriage, body image, and the strange, tender, often hilarious brutality of everyday life.

Her work focuses on the the moments many people prefer to skip over: the long days, quiet undoings—the tension between who you thought you would be and who you’ve become.

She holds a BFA from The Juilliard School and a diploma in TV/Film writing from UCLA. Before becoming a writer, she worked as an actor and later taught at the University of New Mexico.

She is currently working on a novel… or is it a memoir?
