Ravenna Fahey is a writer based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Her debut collection, Shitty Little Poems, is a series of short, cutting pieces that explore motherhood, marriage, body image, and the strange, tender brutality of everyday life.

Her work is concerned with the moments many people prefer to skip over—the long days, the small ruptures, the tension between who you thought you would be and who you’ve become.

She holds a BFA from The Juilliard School and a diploma in TV/Film writing from UCLA. Before becoming a writer, she worked as an actor and later taught at the University of New Mexico.

She is currently working on her first novel.
